Mogadishu Death Toll continues to rise.

Mogadishu, Somalia.

The people killed in last week’s shocking bombing in the Somali capital Mogadishu has risen to over 360, according to latest reports.

The incident came as a result of a car bomb blasts outside Mogadishu a week ago, destroying hotels, government offices and restaurants.

The explosion happened around noon in the village of Markaz, about 20km northwest of Mogadishu,

The armed group al-Shabab was blamed for Saturday’s blasts, which happened when a car bomb and a truck bomb headed for the airport detonated prematurely.

Since then, the death toll has risen to 360, according to the authorities inside Somalia, however, a number of about 50 people is still missing.

Government has blamed the Islamist al-Shabab group, but no claims for the attack from the militant group.

Reportedly, the blast left 228 people injured, of whom 122 had been flown to Turkey, Sudan and Kenya for treatment.

The attack is said to be the biggest deadliest bombing over a decade.
