Subject: The Kidnapping of Mr. Muse Arab Dugsiye, the spokesman of the Gadabursi Ugaas

On September 24, 2016, at 7:30 A.M, the RRU – a militia of the so-called “Somaliland” entity – had kidnapped Muse Arab Dugsiye, the spokesman of the Gadabursi Ugaas (the King), from Borama, Awdal, Somali Republic, and transferred him to a prison in Hargeisa.
Recently, Mr. Muse was highly vocal about the blatant excesses of the “Somaliland” entity committed against the Awdal people. He articulated clearly the anger of the Awdal people against the continuous land grabbing, and ethnic cleansing that they are subjected to daily.
We the people in the diaspora demand that Mr.Dugsiye should be granted his freedom immediately. Forceful silencing of the forces for peace and dignity never worked before and will not work in this age of digital media where all the events of the world are under the microscope of an enlightened world community.
We are also reminding the international community that the RRU is funded by some European countries to fight against the terrorist group, Alshabaab, but in reality it is used to further the ambition of the Isack clan to dominate the northern region of the Somali Republic and to oppress all the other regions such as Awdal, Sool, and Sanaag who don’t share the “Somaliland’s” vision, and quest for secession.

Objet: Enlèvement de M. Muse Arabe Dugsiye, porte-parole du roi des Gadabursi. Ugaas (le Roi tradi-tionnel du clan Gadaboursi)
Le 24 Septembre 2016, à 7h30, le RRU – une milice de l’entité non reconnu par la communauté internationale que l’on appelle le «Somaliland» – avait enlevé Muse Arabe Dugsiye, le porte-parole du roi des Gadabursi, Ugaas Abdirachid Ugaas Robleh Ugaas Dodi, de Borama, Awdal, République de la Somalie, et l’a transféré dans une prison de Hargeisa.
Récemment, M. Muse avait été un ardent défenseur contre l’expropriation des terres (6 villages de la région de Lughaya) par l’entité auto-proclamée du «Somaliland. Ce dernier avait claire-ment articulé la colère du peuple Awdal contre cette expropriation illégale de terres, doublée d’un nettoyage ethnique sans nom. Nous, les gens de la diaspora demandons que Mr. Dugsiye soit relâché immediatement et sans condition pour retrouver sa liberté.
Le nettoyage ethnique et la répression tous azimuts n’ont jamais payé avant et cela ne fonctionnera pas dans cette ère des médias numériques où tous les événements du monde sont sous le microscope d’une communauté mondiale éclairée. Nous voulons également rappeler à la communauté internationale que le RRU est financé par certains pays européens et est supposé pour lutter contre le groupe terroriste, Al-Shabbaab, mais en réa-lité, le gouvernement de Hargeisa les utilise pour faire avancer l’ambition du clan Isack à do-miner la région nord de la République de Somalie et de réprimer les droits inaliénables de toutes les autres communautés et régions telles que Awdal, Sool et Sanaag qui ne partagent pas la vision séparatiste “du Somaliland”.
